How club night works

Every Friday at Mt. Holly, 3 pm to close, weather permitting.

Each week

  1. Sign up by Thursday at 10 pm. Use Weekly sign-up to pick who’s coming Friday, who needs rentals or a lesson, and when you plan to arrive.
  2. Pay for lift tickets and rentals. Pay the club sponsor by Thursday at 10 pm, or bring cash when you pick up your ticket. You only pay for the weeks you come.
  3. Come to Mt. Holly any time after 3 pm. Find the club table in the lounge. Look for our sign with the club logo.
  4. Pick up your lift ticket (and rental slip, if you rented) from a sponsor at the table. Parents buy their own ticket at Mt. Holly’s ticket window.
  5. Go to your lesson, if you signed up for one. Lessons start at 5:00 and 6:00 pm. Line up at the flag for the patch you’re working on, with your lesson ticket ready. SeeLessons and patches.
  6. Check your gear into the free corral whenever you take a break. Never leave skis or a board unattended.

When the season runs

Club nights usually start in early January and run every Friday through the end of February, depending on snow and Mt. Holly’s staffing. We post the first club night here, on theFacebook group and in GroupMe as soon as Mt. Holly confirms it.

If Mt. Holly closes

If Mt. Holly closes on a club night, you choose: get your lift ticket money back, or roll it over to the next club night. A sponsor will contact you.

Check the Facebook group or GroupMe before you leave home. Mt. Holly’s snow line is248-634-8269, extension 24.

Who has to come with your child

Students need to manage on their own at the hill. The sponsors, Marlette Community Schools and Mt. Holly don’t supervise children. If your child can’t be on their own, a parent or guardian needs to come too.

Parents are welcome to ski or ride. Last season, a Parent Card got parents club prices on Friday nights, bought at Mt. Holly’s ticket window. We’ll confirm this season’s parent prices onPricing once Mt. Holly publishes them.

Getting there

The club doesn’t run a bus. If you need a ride, or can give one, say so when you sign up each week and the sponsors will help match carpools.
